Feel free to wallow in your misery.

I love VT football, but it’s just a game. I’m sure the players and coaches are trying their best. I’m moving on with the rest of my Saturday.

Why allow a bunch of 18-22 year olds and a handful of men who coach a GAME bring you so much frustration?

I’m not delusional. VT is a run of the mill, middle of the road football program. Nothing I say or do will change that.

I root for the team, wish them well, and go about the rest of my day when the game is over.

You can call me delusional — but I’d suggest the real unhealthiness resides with those who choose to spend a Saturday completely miserable, constantly complaining, and steeped in negativity and frustration. Why would someone subject themselves to that experience, week after week?

It makes no sense to me. If you can’t enjoy watching the games, why watch them? That’s an honest question. I’m not being snarky. I honestly don’t know why one would watch a game and then just complain the whole time. It’s weird.
